About K3 BTG 

K3 has grown steadily both organically and by acquisition since coming to market in 2001.  Listed below is a summary of the major corporate events since 2001. 

 

All corporate acquisitions or disposals are made against a clear roadmap and are judged in relation to the Group's existing business model and objectives. 

 

2001

K3 joins AIM via a reverse takeover of RAP Group plc.

 

March 2004

Strategic disposal of non-Microsoft based manufacturing software operation. 

 

April 2004              

Acquisition entry level retail solutions provider, Elucid.

 

October 2004

Acquisition of Microsoft's largest retail systems partner in the UK, Alpha Landsteiner. The purchase effectively doubled the size of K3. 

 

June 2005

Acquisition of manufacturing software systems provider, Information Engineering Group ("IEG").  At the time of its acquisition, IEG was one of only two UK distributors of the Syspro range of business software.  The software is Microsoft-based and has been developed specifically for manufacturing and distribution companies.  Syspro's business software range is acknowledged to be a market leader within the manufacturing sector.

 

February 2007

Disposal of non-core Elucid business.

 

March 2007

Acquisition of manufacturing software systems provider, McGuffie Brunton Ltd. McGuffie Brunton was Syspro's second distributor in the UK and its acquisition has established K3 as the only provider in the UK of this specialist ERP software for manufacturers.

 

September 2007

Acquisition of retail systems provider, Landsteiner Nederlands BV .  Based in The Hague, Landsteiner Nederlands, in essence, is a sister company to  Alpha Landsteinar, the software business K3 acquired in October 2004. Both focus on selling the Microsoft Dynamics range of retail software solutions.

 

December 2007

Acquisition of Index Computer Systems Limited, a leading reseller of Microsoft Dynamics AX software. Index supported by Microsoft have developed its own complimentary modules to extend Dynamics AX functionality to support Food and Process Manufacturers.
