Gieves and Hawkes drives online performance with K3 Retail
Didcot, June 11th 2010 - Gieves and Hawkes, the prestigious Savile Row tailor, is planning on growing its online and store sales revenue significantly for the forthcoming year, following the implementation of a retail system from K3 Retail, the UK's leading provider of retail solutions based on Microsoft technology.
Gieves and Hawkes initially selected K3 Retail to integrate its finance systems and store sales with the rest of its business, and is now building its multi-channel offering. Through phase 1 of the project, the business has already started to benefit from one version of the truth and improved sales and financial reporting capabilities, providing accurate information directly to users.
The warehouse project has implemented hand held terminals that has enabled Gieves and Hawkes to streamline receipt and despatch processes and improve stock accuracy. The warehouse project has enabled the business to consolidate its warehouse facilities and significantly reduce overheads.
K3 Retail was selected because Gieves and Hawkes needed a technology partner that could help it deliver a fully integrated approach to its business.
