Ryman, the leading high street stationery retailer, owned by entrepreneur and star of BBC’s Dragons’ Den, is replacing its head office systems for Financials, Inventory Management and Distribution with a single, integrated system from K3, the UK’s largest provider of Microsoft Dynamics.
Due to go live in October, the system will see K3 working to a very short deadline to create a Microsoft Dynamics-based IT infrastructure that will manage around 250 stores.
Theo Paphitis, chairman of the chain, chose the K3 solution following a visit to the Retail Solutions trade show at Birmingham’s NEC in June this year.
Paul Makin, said, “Ryman obviously want to get the systems in place very quickly. Not only would the traditional route of picking multiple vendors not achieve this, K3 can demonstrate that integration of modules means a single version of the truth, streamlined management and the backing of Microsoft.”
As the UK’s largest provider of Microsoft Dynamics, K3 provides business software solutions for the retail sector, built around the complete Microsoft technology stack.
As a Gold Level Partner, and with 25 years of experience, K3’s implementations employ a structured approach that focuses on delivering unique competitive advantages within an agreed performance structure.
Clients that have enjoyed the benefits of a K3 software solution include, Adidas, Alliance Pharmacy, American Golf, Booths Supermarkets, Carpetright, Choices UK Plc, Dobbies Garden Centres, Dreams, Gamestation, Gamestop, Lakeland, Leekes, National Gallery Company, Pearsons, Rugby Football Union, Shoon, Space NK.
